Part of the Tionól custom is the Saturday morning “traditional” breakfast.  It is an important component of the Tionól, as became apparent when organizers decided to change format a few years back and forgo the breakfast.  The decision was based on a concern of forcing participants to dispense with needed sleep after late sessions at the Friday house party and cost.  This proved a mistaken notion, however, as many comments of disappointment, at the breakfast’s cancellation, were noted and the breakfast was reinstated in the schedule of succeeding Tionóls.
